Planned disc golf course in Lafayette draws unexpected opposition - Longmont Times-Call: "A planned disc golf course at Waneka Lake Park in Lafayette is under fire from residents who claim the new amenity will negatively impact the beloved outdoor community hub.

Residents have brought up concerns over the impact on natural habitat, noise and safety, and question the community demand for the disc golf course, given the lack of use at the city's defunct course at Bob L. Burger Recreation Center."

Disc golf course coming to Port | SeacoastOnline.com: "The Board of Selectmen last week approved the installation of a nine hole disc course adjacent to Parsons Field, which is located next to Kennebunkport Consolidated School. The course, which will cost $3,500 to set up, will be available for use by the school as well as the public, said Carol Cook, director of the Parks and Recreation Department."
