Anthony Barela took first place in his age category in the Professional Disc Golf Association’s Amateur and Junior Disk World Championship held July 7-13 in Emporia, Kan.
“It was kind of unreal, it didn’t feel like it was really happening,” said 13-year-old Anthony.
During last year’s event he took third place and from that seemingly made up his mind to be on top this year."
