Tips to avoid losing disc golf discs - All Things Disc Golf

Tips to avoid losing disc golf discs - All Things Disc Golf: "Discs ain’t cheap- especially if everything you throw is premium plastic or rubber that runs $15 or more a pop. And we all own some that would fall into the category of ‘it’s not the money’; discs that are worked in just the way we want, discs that are out of production, in high demand, hard to replace, or have sentimental value. Equipment is part (albeit, in my opinion, a minor part) of what enables us to perform our best, and if our most important tool is suddenly gone, our game is likely to suffer."

John Houck explains disc golf course design- All Things Disc Golf

John Houck explains disc golf course design- All Things Disc Golf: "Designing a disc golf course is more than just placing a teepad in one location and a basket in another. You need to think about the various lines that could be possible and what kind of challenges you could bring on a course. No one wants to play a course where all you have to do is hyzer around some trees all day without much difficulty. A true disc golfer should want a challenge, but you can’t make it too difficult to where even a more casual player will never want to return."

Winterfest in the Woods | Great Fun Time! | MrDiscGolf.com: "87 golfers feared no impeding weather and traveled to the sacred disc golf course, Sedgley Woods.   After a 3 hour fun and fair Rd 1…it was decided that the incoming weather was coming quick so we opted for a shorter 2nd RD layout to help get people on the road before the worst of the weather arrived.  In the end, Hank Hendry bested Jay Klein in a one hole playoff in the Pro Mens division."

downhill throws - Disc Golf Course Review

downhill throws - Disc Golf Course Review: "downhill throws cause me some problems. I am right handed and throw back handed. it seems to me that the disc always goes farther right initially than how it normally would compared to level ground throws. is this just me or is it a physical principal that makes the disc bleed further to the right as it leaves my hand? if so, what kind of adjustments do you make to throws (stance, etc.) to compensate?"

tomahawk throws in wind - Disc Golf Course Review

tomahawk throws in wind - Disc Golf Course Review: "So I'm curious what the tomahawk throw will do when the wind is blowing at your back and also in your face. does it tend to turn over sooner one way or the other?

Also, in general, what difference do you see when throwing a less stable disc (roadrunner) vs. a more stable disc (wraith) in the tomahawk or thumber fashion? "

Closed shoulder snap drill questions - Disc Golf Course Review

Closed shoulder snap drill questions - Disc Golf Course Review: "From those of you who've had success learning to "snap" the disc from Bradly Walker's drill - I have a few questions...

I spent about 2 hours in the field working this drill today. Shocking how hard it is to unlearn 15 months of muscle memory build up - I definitely have been "rounding" or spinning my shots as is evidence by the video I posted in the form critique section here http://www.dgcoursereview.com/forums...d.php?t=102492"
