Brazil Times: Local News: Parks board OKs disc golf tournament (03/18/14): "A series of Indiana disc golf tournaments will culminate Saturday at Forest Park in Brazil.

The Brazil Parks and Recreation board OK'd the tournament, so long as liability insurance is provided by the group hosting the event.

Called the Western Indiana Frozen Fundraiser Series, there have been five tournaments to date -- each raising money for charities in the hosting communities."

The event on May 3, sponsored by disc golf manufacturer Discraft, will be divided into two distinct components: a disc golf tutorial from 10 to 11 a.m. and a tournament from noon to 4 p.m."

He was out with friends playing the course, but news of a forthcoming storm didn't deter him, he often plays no matter the weather. "I'll be out here no matter what," he said. After a warm weekend, the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for the Black Hills through Tuesday night."
