Sussex native Haunfelder shines at national disc golf competition: "As much as Ryan Haunfelder has loved the disc golf experience at Village Park in Sussex, he admits few courses in the upper tiers of competition play so easily.
"I played Sussex Park all the time," said Haunfelder, a current member of the disc golf team at Colorado State University that took fifth place in the most recent national tournament. "I just assumed I was pretty good at it because I played every day. When I started playing competitively, it was a whole different game. Mentality comes into it, big time. That's what I had to work on most, mental game. Most people would be good, but you put them in a pressure situation, it's completely different.""
