Sports: "While many female disc golfers will be taking part in the Texas Women's Disc Golf Championship, another one of disc golf's biggest tournaments will be held from April 13-15, 2012, in Emporia, Kan. The Dynamic Discs Glass Blown Open already has 429 players registered in this PDGA sanctioned A-tier event, more than twice as many that competed in The Memorial Championship held in Scottsdale, Ariz., in late February and early march."

James Crawford Crowned Champion at Disc Golf's Capital City Challenge - Yahoo! Sports: "The Capital City Challenge took place in Lansing, Mich., on April 1, 2012, at the Grand Woods Park Disc Golf Course, set along scenic Grand River. This PDGA sanctioned C-tier event had 55 disc golfers come out to compete, and it was James Crawford of Midland, Mich., who emerged the winner in the open division with a final score of 11-under par."

Innova to discontinue the Teebird « talkdiscgolf.com: "Wow…what a bomb to be dropped on the disc golf community. Innova announced that they are no longer producing Teebirds. The Teebird is often associated with a golfers mainstay driver. It was the disc that led Ken Climo to many of his 12 World Championships."
