New course for disc golfers breathes life into Dog Island Park in Red Bluff
"A year in the making, the new 18-hole disc golf course winds through the once-neglected parkland along the Sacramento River just northwest of downtown. In the three weeks since the last of the metal baskets that serve as holes were installed, the course is proving popular, said one of the golfers who helped build it."
