Disc golf, or frisbee golf or frolf it is sometimes called, floated into Farmington in 2000. City councilman George Sharpe, businessman T. Greg Merrion and Mike Rutledge, a Farmington doctor, paved the way, dolling out their own cash and finding sponsors to purchase holes."
