Trussville disc golf course re-opening rescheduled – The Trussville Tribune: "The Greg Carter Memorial Disc Golf Course, located in the Trussville Sports Complex, was expected to re-open Saturday. The course has been closed since September 2012, when Trussville Mayor Gene Melton instructed Trussville Parks and Recreation to remove the disc golf baskets until a portion of the greenways project was completed."
