Lamesa Reporter: Disc golf tourney set for CFS Festival: "Just like Lamesa’s Chicken Fried Steak Festival is growing, disc golf appears to be a sport on the rise – locally.
“We still have our mini (tournaments) every Wednesday where we just recently had one of our biggest turnouts – 19 out that one night,” said Lamesa’s Jose Barron.
“It just seems to keep getting bigger and bigger down there all the time. It’s just like golf, once we get people out to play that first time they usually get hooked.” "
