DeGray Lake Resort State Park Opens New Disc Golf Course: "We have gotten word that DeGray Lake Resort State Park’s new disc golf course opens this Friday- July 4. Disc golf, which is also called frisbee golf, is a popular sport nationwide. There will be a brief grand opening ceremony at the park visitor center at 9 a.m. Friday morning to officially open the course for play.
According to Joan Ellison, Public Information Officer for Arkansas State Parks, this is the first disc golf course in the Arkansas state park system."
