"NEW ULM - Disc golf afficionados got approval from the New Ulm Park
& Rec advisory board Monday to expand the course at Nehls Park from
nine holes to 18.
The plan presented to the Park & Rec board Monday calls for the disc
golf group to supply the funding and place the new holes."

hoping to play a relaxing game of disc golf on a course that had existed for 28 years.
But the baskets, equivalent to golf holes, were turned over and posted signs said the
18-hole course was closed. But die-hard disc golfers banded together, made their
voices heard, and the course will reopen in the spring"
