Herald and News: "The Modoc County Office of Education has received a $29,802 grant from the McConnell Fund to complete a disc golf course.
The grant was one of 11 approved by Shasta Regional Community Foundation Board of Directors for funding from The McConnell Fund. In all, $229,042 was awarded to 11 organizations in Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou, and Trinity counties."
