Pocket : Less than 3 weeks after opening, Clay's disc golf course draws visitors from several states: "CLAY, Alabama -- Clay's new disc golf course held its first tournament on Aug. 10 -- about a week after it opened to the public -- attracting players from Huntsville and Chattanooga.

In fact, the course at Clay City Park has already drawn visitors from Florida, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania."

With donations from local sponsors, the Carrabasskett Valley Disc Golf Association is growing its course from five holes to 18. The course is at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center.
