Carrollton OKs disc golf course on Hobbs property - Times-Georgian: Local News: "he Carrollton City Council gave its blessing Monday to the Carrollton Disc Golf Club to put an 18-hole course on the city’s Hobbs Property recreation area, with the club raising the funds.
The vote was 4-0 in favor of a resolution to approve the club’s master plan for building the 18-hole disc golf course, with the club committed to raise the $75,000 necessary to develop the course. Mayor Wayne Garner was out of town and did not attend the meeting."
