Putting Practice - Technique - Disc Golf 4 Women: "Val’s Response:
Now, I will be the first to admit that I do not like practicing. Practicing to me takes the fun out of the game for me, like homework almost. But there are the rare occasions that I get out the backyard and the one thing that I work on is my putting. Although, I might not be the best role model for putting, I can also say that it dramatically helps create positive reinforcement when you step out on the course."

Uncle Rico's Fieldwork | HeavyDisc
Uncle Rico's Fieldwork | HeavyDisc: "I'm not an expert, I am not a tournament player and I certainly don't want to pretend I'm better than I am. I'm just a guy who wants to get better. I spend time almost everyday in an empty field like Uncle Rico and I have found that it has helped my game far more than actually playing rounds. In 6 months I've gone from absolutely zero skill and zero confidence to having some skill and feeling pretty confident in my backhand shots."

Wife says "Change hobbies…" - Disc Golf Course Review
Wife says "Change hobbies…" - Disc Golf Course Review: "So…. My wife tells me that disc golf is =no bueno. It takes too much time…., its not real exercise…., ect….. She says, "go run or ride your bike" and "take up disc golf later on in life when the kids are older (3 kids 1,3,5) and you have more time." the 3 and 5 year old play 9 hole rounds with me and love it! Really….. Has anyone else had these conversations with their spouse…. I have been playing for 1 and half years and currently play 1-2 times a week 9 and sometimes 18 holes."

Why does a flat top equal more stable? - Disc Golf Course Review
Why does a flat top equal more stable? - Disc Golf Course Review: "I finally got my hands on an OS, board flat disc (CE Valk) that has excellent glide and found some wind to throw it into yesterday. I noticed that my nearest equivalent disc (star Orc) flew almost identical down wind and/or down-to-side wind but much less stable into the wind than the Valk. "
