Pocket : Local disc golfers say farewell to summer at Glenburnie Park: "Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer. For a few dozen people, the day was spent playing disc golf at Glenburnie Park in New Bern.

Disc golf is a game played much like golf, except the players use Frisbee-like discs instead of balls and pole-mounted baskets instead holes in the ground."
