Austin grads Jordan Castro and Adam May totaled a team score of 251 to take second place in the Advanced Category at the Pro Disc Golf Association World Doubles Tournament at Mount Vernon, Tex. recently"

Council hears proposal on disc golf : Bonneterre: "BONNE TERRE - The Bonne Terre City Council listened Monday night as Ron Roper gave the council a detailed presentation on a proposal for disc golf to be added to the Bonne Terre City Park.

“This can generate income by selling a title sponsorship, which is naming the course after said business, and hole sponsorships, which is naming a hole after said business and is an annual fee paid by the business to the city to have a plaque with their name on it," Roper explained. "Also, tournaments that would take place at the city park will yield revenue by charging a fee to participants. There are also many other economic benefits of a disc golf course in our local area.""

Disc golf collegiate championships return to North Augusta | The Augusta Chronicle: "The eighth annual National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships begins today at the Hippodrome Disc Golf Complex in North Augusta and will feature its largest field yet.
Admission is free today-Friday and $10 for the Saturday finals. Ages 12 and under get in free."

Disc golf championships come to Tulsa - Tulsa Chamber - Tulsa Chamber: "Tulsa Sports Commission welcomes the Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Disc Golf Championship to Tulsa, April 25-27. The competition is being presented through a partnership with Professional Disc Golf Association and Tulsa Disc Sports Association.

Estimated attendance is expected to be over 250 master athletes from across the country. Five rounds of competition will take place at six courses across the region. Selected courses are Hunter Park, Haikey Creek Park, McClure Park and two courses at Mohawk Park – known as Red Hawk and Black Hawk."
