Explore Disc Golf | Town of Wakefield
Explore Disc Golf | Town of Wakefield: "The Big Idea for the design of the Town of Wakefield’s 9-hole disc golf course was to provide a beginner-friendly layout that has high visibility to the surrounding land uses, while moving course users to significant on-site features throughout the dense New England woods. The course begins and ends in the center of the site where parking is ample, while the overall layout circumvents a large baseball field and soccer pitch. Many of the holes are visible from the sports fields, surrounding residential units and nearby road, but far enough away where there are no safety concerns. Locating the course in this section of the property was done so to help maximize the town’s investment by visible promotion of the course."

Davis County could get its first disc golf course
Davis County could get its first disc golf course: "WOODS CROSS – City leaders are entertaining the idea of allowing a local park to be the site of the first disc golf course in Davis County.
A group of three men made a 45-minute pitch to members of the city council Tuesday to consider placement of the first disc golf course in Davis County at Mills Park, at approximately 1850 South and 1200 West. They outlined three scenarios where costs for equipment for the course would range from $11,000 to $13,000. The labor costs to set up the course would be minimal, they claimed"

Prodigy DG T1 Sets New Target Standard | Professional Disc Golf Association: ""The Prodigy PRO DG T1 will set a new standard for Professional Disc Golf Targets. Team Discmania grows in numbers | Discmania: "At the start of 2014 Discmania took a big leap forward in establishing our international presence. Prior to this year, our complete day-to-day representation had been handled solely from Finland. This naturally caused a problem, considering that a big chunk of our customers and our production was located in the US. With this in mind, we hired Erno Väyrynen and Ryan Rintala to create an actual presence in the US."

When I would drive by a discgolf park , never really seen anyone on it and I use to be a very serious ball golfer in the 90's.so, I would think that the sport of disc golfing would have come up in a conversation, but it never did."
