The Westerly Sun | Disc golf tournament has become a winter tradition

The Westerly Sun | Disc golf tournament has become a winter tradition: "CHARLESTOWN — Golfers from far and near gathered at the 18-hole course at Ninigret Park on Saturday morning, equipped not with golf clubs, but an array of neon Frisbees for the 19th annual Ice Bowl Disc Golf tournament.
West Kingston resident T.M. Dyer first began organizing the event in 1990, and it has occurred in multiple locations since its inception. After working with the town of Charlestown to create and install a disc golf course in Ninigret Park — first as a nine-hole course that became 18 by 2010 — the event has become a wintry tradition for avid disc golfers."
