Some time ago, there was a meeting of the minds when local advocates of the national sporting and hobby phenomenon known as “disc golf” joined with members of the Galion City Council’s Parks, Recreation, and Streets Committee. The result of that collaboration was nothing short of outstanding. In less than two weeks, the newest disc golf course in Ohio will open for play just south of Galion on the shores of Amann’s and Amick’s Reservoirs."
